This is a fantastic Valentine’s Day Craft for kids. You can do so much with this dough, it’s great. These ceramic hearts and flowers are great for kids to make and give as gifts for Valentine’s day. You can use this dough “clay” to make all sorts of crafts! If you have extra you can save it in the fridge and use it another time for a different project
Supplies:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Salt
- 2/3 cup water
- Mixing Bowl
- Rolling pin
- Spoon
- Cookie Cutters- Heart, Flower
- Paint
- Paint Brush
Steps:
- Mix, Flour Salt and water in a bowl
- Mix it well until it is like a cookie dough. If it is too crumbly, add a little more water. If it is too sticky add a little more flour.
- After dough is ready, roll it out with rolling pin
- Cut out shapes with cutting board
- Put on plate to dry- for 48 hours
- If you would like to be able to hang the ceramic pieces, use a straw to make a hole on top
- After the ceramic pieces Dry, use paint to decorate them
- If you have made a hole you can add a ribbon and tie it to hang it.
