For my Daughters birthday she got this adorable wooden dragon fly that can be painted. She was so excited. She was really cute with how she picked out the colors very carefully and was so proud of her finished product. I have seen these at the dollar store and Michaels craft stores.
Supplies:
- Wooden Dragon Fly
- Washable Paint
- Clear Acrylic spray (if you are going to put it outside)
- Paint brush
- Plastic Table Cloth
- Tupperware lid
Steps:
- Put some colors in the tupperware lid
- Paint the Dragon Fly
- When it drys Spray the Acrylic Spray to protect the paint.
I love these kinds of crafts because they can give them as gifts or hang them up and display them. They are very inexpensive and simple to complete. My daughter is thrilled with her masterpiece!

Love those dragonflies too. You can also attatch some ribbon on the top and hang it on her door or wall. Putting one long strand on the bottom makes a great bow or clip holder. I had my daughter paint one and glue rhinestones on it. Good post!

Today my 3 year old actually had his own idea, which may be a little silly, but it’s definately using his own imagination. I’m hoping to record it, though I’m not sure as sometimes recording a 3 year old can be a tad long as he gets easily distracted. LOL. Is it okay that if this craft is for my 3 year old that my 5 year old is particpating and seen in the video as well. Even though she might be participating and seen it will be listed under his craft in his category, as her own craft is already finished. Is that okay? Thanks!
