Yes, it’s true.  I love my mini van!!  I will say it again, I have a mommy van and I am proud to say I love it.  I know it’s not cool or hip, but that’s ok with me!!  I am happy every day when I am loading up the kids and all the gear that I don’t have to cram them into a tiny sedan anymore!!  The room in my Honda Odyssey is unbelievable!!  Oh and the automatic doors- THANK God for Automatic doors- click the button, and go ahead kids run in – while I am grabbing the rest of the bags they are in buckling up!  This is very handy especially on rainy days!!

Back in the day, before I had kids, I was a naysayer!  I was known to say, I NEVER wanted a minivan.  That was before I had kids and watched other kids and had to jam three carseats in the back of a sedan and was stuck at home if I had four kids with me!!  Oh I love my minivan and it’s 10 cupholders!!  DvD player, with remote headphones!!

When we were trying to figure out what our next car would be we looked at a variety of cars. We looked at family sedans like the Acura RL.  Then there were the SUV type cars like the Chevrolet Traverse Review, Saturn Vue, or the Subaru WRX.  I searched all over the internet reading different reviews and checking out Consumer Reports for ratings.  I kept coming back to the main things I wanted in a car: Reliability, Space, Decent gas mileage.  That kept bringing me back to a minivan.  I slowly began to realize that was what I needed.  I loved the new designed Odyssy and was determined that, that would be my next car.  Yes – I loved the design!!  I am not ashamed!!  Nothing beats my Odyssey when you are traveling with kids!!  Not to mention it drives like a dream and I can parallel park it!!

So, what do you think about mommy vans? Do you love them? Hate them?  Seems it’s either you love them or hate them!!  I am a convert!  But everyday I jump in my minivan I am thrilled!  How many cars can you put your kids in the trunk and let them use the travel potty in private!!
