Teach your child how to play checkers, and have fun!!!

This is a fun Valentine’s Day craft that can make a great gift for your child to give to a friend or loved one. This uses the Clay I highlighted in the post on Valentine’s Day Craft Ceramics. You will need about 48 hours for them to dry thoroughly so they can be painted and put on a string or ribbon.
Supplies:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Salt
- 2/3 cup water
- Mixing Bowl
- Spoon
- Paint
- Paint Brush
- String or Ribbon
- Straw
- Wax paper

Steps:
- Mix, Flour Salt and water in a bowl
- Mix it well until it is like a cookie dough. If it is too crumbly, add a little more water. If it is too sticky add a little more flour.
- Roll dough into little balls about 3/4 inch in diameter
- Press the straw through the middle carefully to make a hole.
- Make 3-6 beads and then place on wax paper to dry
- Once beads are dry (about 2 days) Paint the beads and let the paint dry
- Then string on ribbon or string.
Enjoy!!
