We recently had the big event of my son losing his first tooth!  He was so excited and thrilled when it started to wiggle.  Everyday he pushed at it to see if it was looser.  Then finally while eating breakfast, he pushed it with his tongue and out it popped!  He screamed in an excited voice “MOM my tooth came out!” and there it was on the floor.  A second later he asked nervously “is it bleeding?!!”  He was so excited, but the idea of it bleeding freaked him out!  It wasn’t so he was excited to go look at the gap in his teeth!  He ran right to the mirror.  He looks so cute without the tooth!

He then wanted to call our entire family and tell them the news himself.  He was thrilled!  It was the cutest thing.  He had his tooth under the pillow at 5 pm waiting anxiously for the Tooth Fairy to arrive!  He kept asking if it was time to go to bed!  I don’t think he has EVER asked to go to bed.  When he went to bed it occurred to me that I needed to do something fun for this first tooth fairy visit!!  So I (with the help of my sister!) made a note and this fun envelope to put his tooth fairy money in!
