This week I tackled planting my garden!! I always love this tackle! It feel so good to see everything planted in their nice neat rows and know that soon we will be able to pick our cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, peppers, etc in our back yard! It’s a great learning experience every year for the kids too. They love seeing what we are planting and trying our vegetables that we grow ourselves! Here are the before and after pictures (although the before is actually after we had already put our marigolds in)….

What have you tackled this week?
It’s starting to feel like ground hogs day with cleaning these closets!! Last week for tackle it Tuesday I tackled my daughter’s closet, this week I tackled my son’s closet AGAIN! I must say, I do feel so much better after I organize their closets. There is nothing worse then not being able to find things when you are looking for them. Although it takes me a while to go through and organize their closets I find that I am able to put pieces of games together we couldn’t find and clothes that were missing. That is always satisfying. Here is the before and after.
What did you tackle this week?
It’s that time again!! Time for me to tackle my daughter’s closet AGAIN!! I love that she is independent, but that also means that she takes her things out to get dressed and doesn’t quite get them back in the closet where they are supposed to be!!

This weekend we had a wonderful mother’s day at my house and I hope you all did too! My sister and I got to take out our mom alone for lunch and it was wonderful to have some adult time together. We also got to get together with my mother in law and the rest of the family for dinner. It was great to be able to see most of my family for mother’s day. I feel so lucky to have most of my family living close to me.
My Tackle it Tuesday weight loss challenge continues! I really need to purchase a scale!! I have been eating much better (except for mother’s day!). I also have begun to participate in a great online support group! It meets on Tuesday at 7pm Eastern and Friday at 1pm Eastern. It is online and has great resources and support for those of us trying to lose weight. If you were interested in joining me at one of these free meetings, let me know via onnat2s@verizon.net and I will let you know how to access the support group. I have found it very helpful! They just started a new round of meetings so there are a lot new people and also many who started in the last group and came back for continued support. Best of all it’s free! What have you been tackling?
This week I am continuing my tackle of weight loss and healthy living along with a few other things!! We got our long awaited recumbent bike, which I am really excited about! I always had a hard time getting to the gym and now I just have to go downstairs and jump on it!! It’s fantastic. Getting to the gym was always a challenge, now I just need to stop what I am doing and carve out 45 minutes. So I have had a good week! I feel like I am adding exercise to my tackle to be healthy! I have eaten generally well this week and feel good and full of energy!
I also tackled cleaning up the leaves we had piled up, which was great exercise. It was nice to be outside on a beautiful sunny day working in the yard. I am thinking of adding another garden in the yard for a rasberry bush. I can’t wait to plant my garden.
