It’s the Mclinky Blog hop again! This weeks theme is to share a recipe! The above picture is not of the recipe I am sharing, but I thought it was so cute, I had to share it. The recipe I am going to share is for Honey Candy-It is quite delicious, but has peanut butter in it. So stay away if you have peanut allergies in the family.
Honey Candy
1 Cup Crunchy Peanutbutter
1 Cup Honey
1 Cup Powdered Milk
2 Cups Crispy Rice Cereal
Chocolate chips
Mix Peanug Butter and Honey in a blender. Add in powdered milk. Blend with your hands. Add Cereal and continue to blend with your hands. Roll into walnut-size balls. Press 3-4 choclate chips into each ball and then refrigerate. Once cold, they are ready to eat! Enjoy!!
This recipe was passed to me from my mom, I do not know where it originally came from.
This picture depicts exactly how the beach makes me feel. I love being close to the ocean. It is such a calming place for me. I am participating in the McKlinky Blog Hop again and today the theme is your favorite picture. This is definitely one of mine. I can not take credit for taking it. But it is so beautiful I wanted to share it. If you would like to participate in the McKlinky Blog Hop put your link in the box below. It officially starts at 9pm Eastern.
This is pretty much my mantra on life and to my kids!! I firmly believe that if you put your mind to it you can accomplish your goals. You need to work hard, plan for it, but you will get there!! I think it is so important to encourage children to give it their all and not to get discouraged if they are not successful at first. Things that are hard to achieve are usually worth the effort and practice. It is worth waiting for your success. You will feel so much more accomplished when you succeed and had to really work at it.
What is your favorite quote? Your mantra?
Today I am participating in the McKlinky Blog Hop. Every week there is a different theme to post about. All the posts are kept in the McKlinky and you can then from blog to blog and check out other posts in the blog hop. It seemed pretty cool, so I decided to give it a try!
