Grahm cracker gingerbread houseThis is a really fun Christmas Craft (and delicious!) activity to create with your kids around the holidays!!  They will love selecting the candy they are going to use and getting to eat it after it done being displayed!  Make sure to take pictures, since it probably won’t last long on display without being eaten.

Supplies:

  • Plate
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Thick White Icing
  • Various gum balls, candies, m & m’s, Marshmallows etc.
  • 3 1/2 sheets of graham crackers

Steps:

  1. Wrap plate in aluminum foil
  2. Form Square with 1/2 of each graham cracker, using icing to stick it together
  3. Put a half of a graham cracker on top, attach with icing
  4. Create a triangle with 2 crackers for the roof.
  5. Add icing to roof and decorate house with candy
  6. Create a landscape with icing and candy
  7. To create the snowman, use icing to attach two marshmallows together.  Add m & m’s for eyes-attach with icing.  You can use licorice (black or red string licorice works well) to make arms and a smile.

Have fun!
