Holidays are a great time to create crafts with kids!! It makes it more exciting when you create a project around the theme of an upcoming holiday! Bunny Craft is a fun styrofoam craft to make for easter with your children. The Easter Bouquet is another fun craft you can create with your child. In conjunction with the crafts it is great to read books about the upcoming holiday to reinforce the whole idea of the holiday and help your child feel involved and connected to the holiday. The Night Before Easter is a fun book to read for Easter.

It’s Spring!! Hurray!! I already hear all the birds starting to sing and I love it!! In honor of the warmer Spring weather we made a Bird house for our Fine Feathered Friends!!
While doing this craft, you might want to ready one of the following books with your child, depending on their age… Backyard Birdwatching for kids or Are you my mother? The Backyard Birdwatching book is fun because you can ready about the birds and how you can attract them to your back yard and your bird house. Are you my mother? is a great book about a young bird looking for his mother.
This craft is so much fun and you can enjoy it all spring and summer!

It breaks the crafts down into great categories like : Rainy Day Play, Kids in the Kitchen, Water Play, Outdoor Adventures, Arts & Crafts and much more. I highly recommend getting this book!!
