This is a good video by a Pediatrician on how to discipline your child.  It reviews using Reward and punishment techniques with your children.  It is very important to be consistent with your children on the rules of your house.  Although Children many times act like they don’t like rules, they actually make kids feel safe and secure.  If there are two parents in your home it is very important to be on the same page with your rules.  Kids need to know they can’t go from one parent to the other attempting to get what they want.  It is always a challenge to figure out the best way to raise our children and what issues to tackle and what ones to let slide.  If you go with your gut and are consistent, in the end it will all work out.
