This is a great craft for Kindergarten aged kids. You can create it with kids younger as well, although they might
have some difficulty with the amount of coloring required. This activity is great for fine motor development and reinforcing
their pinch grasp as they work.
Supplies:
- Crayons-Bright colors, like blue, red etc
- Construction paper
- Black Crayon
Steps:
- Color every inch of the piece of paper, for younger kids cut the paper smaller, so there is not as much to color
- Color over the bright colors with black crayon, color the entire thing
- Take a toothpick(rounded kind is best, for safety-but make sure to keep an eye on them while they work) and let them
- Draw a picture by scraping away the black crayon.
Enjoy!
