This is a really fun craft for Christmas time. I got so behind that I am posting it after Christmas, I know, but at least it will be available for next year! Leave this reindeer glitter out with the kids on Christmas eve to help Santa find his way to your house!
Supplies:
- Oats
- Granola
- Colored cornflakes cereal, crushed up a little
- Glitter
- Ziplock bag
- Paper
- Tape or glue
Steps:
- Mix together the oats, granola, cornflakes, and glitter
- Pour into a small snack sized ziplock bag
- Write the following poem on a piece of paper… ”Sprinkle on the lawn at night. The moon will make it sparkle bright. As Santas reindeer fly and roam. This will guide them to your home.” I learned this cute poem from my daughters girlscout troop.
- Sprinkle some on Christmas eve and have fun!

Merry Christmas!! I hope you are having a wonderful day with your family. This is a really simple candy cane craft that can be a great last minute present for kids to give someone. It makes a nice ornament on the tree.
Supplies:
- Beads
- Pinecleaner
- Scissors
Steps:
- Shape pipe cleaner into candy cane shape
- Cut off extra pipe cleaner
- Let your child put the beads on
- Bend each end after all beads are on so they don’t fall off
Have a great day and have fun!

Have fun and Happy holidays!

It’s that time of year again! I can’t believe it! So here is the start of the holiday craft series. Today is a simple Christmas Tree Craft that can easily be made into an ornament. To make it an ornament, I would recommend using card stock instead of construction paper. Then just hole punch the top and put a pretty ribbon through it.
Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Beads
- Glitter
Steps:
- Draw a tree shape
- Cut out the tree (or have your child cut it out, depending on their age)
- Make a design with the glue
- Shake glitter over it and empty on a paper plate or bowl
- Glue some beads or other pretty objects
Enjoy!
