I recently had the good fortune of connecting with Dan Konyha of Bumblz Media, Inc-one of the Creators of Bumblz DVD’s and CD’s.  Bumblz Media has children’s dvds centered around a loveable little character named Bumblz.   I am thrilled to be able to review these adorable and entertaining DVD’s and CD’s.  Thanks to Bumblz Media, one of  The First Place Art Contest Winner will receive the Bumblz: Clubhouse Friends DVD.

Bumblz: Clubhouse Friends – Is an endearing story of bumblz and his quest to build a club house.  When it falls he is discouraged, but a friend comes along and encourages him.  He meets a new friend who has some special skills on how to construct the clubhouse, and is willing to help  if she can  hang out there too.  Bumblz is happy to have her help and share his club house and they work together to build the house.  When they hit another road block, they meet a new friend who helps them out.  The story continues, sharing the message that sometimes if you hit a road block, you just need to find a different way to attack the problem, keep at it, work together and you will succeed.  The bottom line of the dvd, make new friends, and never give up!  It was very cute and entertaining.  My 6 year old and 3 year old both sat glued to the tv the entire time it was on and even requested to watch it again!!  It is mature enough that even kids a little bit older can enjoy it.  The music throughout the video is great and get’s you moving!

Bumblz: the Pirate’s Treasure - Is the next in the series of DVD’s where Bumblz and his clubhouse friends hear a story of long beard the pirate from their friend spinny who shares his special pirate ship with them.  After telling the story, his ship falls and breaks and out pops a secret map!  It’s the map that leads to long beards treasure and the adventure begins.  The club house friends work together to solve problems on their journey.   They use clues and their math skills to help them reach their destination.  This is a very cute story and once again my 3 and 6 year old really enjoyed it (ok I did too It shows how much fun you can have using your imagination and determination.  This DVD also had a lot of fun music in it.

The 2 Cd’s offered by Bumblz have some very nice music on it.  It ranges from toe tapping, makes you want to dance music to relaxing smooth music.  I really didn’t mind at all listening to the CD’s and even found myself dancing to a few songs, such as, “A Pirate’s Life’s for me” , “New Pair of Shoes” and the “Bumblz Theme”.
