Monster Puppet

Here is a fun and easy Craft to create!!  Make a bunch and you can have a puppet show!  My son who is 6 loved playing with this!!

Supplies

• Paper Plate
• Card Stock Paper/or another paper Plate
• Stapler
• Scissors
• Crayons
• Styrofoam peanuts (or cotton balls would work too)

Steps

1. Color and Decorate Plate
2. Fold Plate in half
3. Cut Four strips of cardstock -roughly four inches long, one inch wide
4. Staple 2 to make handles on bottom and top of crease on plate
5. Fold about one inch back on each of the two remaining strips and glue to plate-for eyes(see picture)
6. Draw eyes on top of the two strips.
7. Cut Peanuts in half and glue around edge of plate to make teeth

Put hand through handles and you have your puppet!!  Make a few more and create a show!
