Tackle It Tuesday Meme

My quest continues!  I would say my first week on my weight loss tackle went ok, not fantastic, but not bad either.  I generally stuck to my goal of points for weight watchers.  I have to say the shakes definitely help me get through the morning hours (if you want more on the shakes or other nutritional, fitness information you can check it out here).  It is hard to adjust to eating less, snacking less and being more careful with what I eat.  I know I need to spend the preparation time so I have the healthy snacks handy.  On the days I did that, I did much better with my points.  I also need to stop myself from divulging in my chocolate obsession!!  I absolutely love chocolate, and have a hard time resisting it.  I might try having one of the chocolate shakes at night to satisfy that craving, or chocolate popsicles to help.

I have been working on changing over many of my household cleaning products to more natural greener products in the past couple of months and I am very happy with that change.  I feel so much better about using the products and I can even let my daughter help me with them.    I have been making an extra effort to shut off lights, recycle everything I can and use many things I already have to create our crafts.  It is my little piece I can do and in honor of Earth Day I am renewing my commitment.

I am looking forward to being able to start my garden again soon!  I love having all the fresh cucumbers and tomatoes around!  This week I intend on working out more along with eating healthy!
