This week I tackled an organizational project! We have SO MANY books for the kids that I am running out of room. We just got this cool Magazine type rack that we hung to add books to. I tackled, putting it up and then sorting the books to decide what books would go well in it. It feels so good to have all the books organized again!!
This is what was in the spot where the new book holder was to go. I removed it before I installed the new book organizer.
I loved this tackle, because it really helped organize the books. The magazine holder, works great for the books!! It’s in a place I couldn’t have fit a bookshelf, so it’s like found space!!
What did you tackle this week?

Looks like a fun project! Hope that’s not a wall in the bathroom; that’s something my dad would do. I digress…
For my project this week, it was book related, too. My last house had built in book shelves. My new house has none. When the movers packed our books, they did a bad job, packing them in such a way that their bindings could become damaged. So this weekend I unpacked all those boxes (over 30!) and repacked them to protect the bindings, then moved them to the attic. I will build some custom shelves soon, but at least I know they’re safe until then.

I might see if I can make something like this but on a huge scale covering my whole bedroom wall. I have so many magazines but stacking them up means I can only ever see the top few. Cheers for the post its really spurred me on to do something!

I love it! It looks so clean, and it seems that it would be easy for a kid to keep organized. And such a small amount space needed–as someone in a small apartment with 3 kids, I appreciate that!
