This week I tackled the toy closet! It seems to be the never ending battle trying to keep the toys organized!! The toy closet gets so unruly! Then I can’t get in to get anything! So it was time for another overhaul!! I love tackle it tuesday, because it encourages me to tackle all of these projects that I procrastinate about!
Before….
After…
I always feel better after I organize something!

I love to organize too. It makes me feel like I accomplished something. I have been using large labeled plastic storage containers. We have one for potato heads, one for Lincoln Logs, one for playdough, and one for Jigsaw puzzles. Definitely keeps the clutter to a minimum, and I love how I can stack them together.

nice! I need to tackle some kids rooms!
I lOVE TO ORGANIZE! And to find new ways of doing it. my favorite new way is to buy those undergarmets laundry bags and some wall hooks (suction cups for bathroom toys) fill them with blocks, art supplies, just about anything. when the kids want to use it they just take the bag off the wall and everything stays nice and neat! quick clean up and all off the floor
I LOVE your before/after pictures.
When our little one was home for the weekend, I took some ‘before’ pictures…
Am still working on creating the ‘after’ scenario!!!, let alone taking pictures of this wonderful tidy state of existence!!
mama mia, thank goodness for blogging as it is keeping me (us?) sane. I love crafting and yes, actually even posted a toddler post yesterday.

Wow!!! What a big difference. We are in the process of adding shelves to our toy closet. Wish us luck.
I thought your before/after pictures were great. I built my son a toy cabinet for his own son (my grandson). It has a gizmo that keeps all the toys until my grandson puts one back. This avoids the toy clutter in the room. You can see a video of it in use at http://www.furniture-that-gets-kids-to-pick-up-toys.com/ . But it only holds a few toys, so they have to store the rest in the closet. At least they lock the closet so the boy can’t wander in there.
