Penny the Penguin Craft
There are so many great Pre School Activities. This Penguin Craft is fun and simple. I love creating simple preschool crafts that can reinforce things kids are learning. I suggest making this craft and discussing the letter that Penguin sounds like. Then you can make a name that begins with the letter P to reinforce the sound of the letter and what it looks like. Once you come up with a name (like we did Penny the Penguin) then you can write the name on the finished project and point out the letter P as you do so.
Supplies
- Construction paper- Black, Brown or yellow, White and a different color for the background.
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
Steps
- Cut out circle for the head-out of the black paper.
- Cut out oval for the body- out of the white paper.
- Cut out wings -out of black paper.
- Cut out feet and beak out of brown or yellow paper
- Glue Body on Background paper
- Glue Head on top of body
- Glue wings on.
- Glue googly eyes on face
- Glue beak on face
- Glue Feet on
- Write the name of your penguin on the background paper.
Display proudly! I was inspired to create this craft after looking through the Crafty Kids Book I borrowed from the library! I love it.
