Maz- I would say playdough is always a big hit! Also things she can take things in and out of, like tupperware bowls, with balls or blocks. Stacking Blocks are great too. Also big simple puzzles. Using glue sticks with lots of big materials that she can glue on paper ( put a big plastic mat underneath). Painting in the non spill cups or finger painting in the high chair (but it needs to be covered and can get messy!) Hope that gives some more ideas!

That's a great idea. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of what to do with a 14 month old girl? I have crayons which she loves to colour but need things not too messy fir home! Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks x

That's a great idea!! Cole and Bella will be starting kindergarten this fall so I think this would be helpful for them. They're not reading yet but at the very beginning stages so it certainly couldn't hurt to expose them to it.

BTW, they just finished their art projects for the contest. I'm waiting for the paint and glue to dry on Bella's so I can post it. I tell ya...letting a 4 yr old handle the paint and the glue on her own was more stressful than I could've imagined.

This is a great idea. I know my son is only 10 months old right now, but I'm going to make word cards for him. It can't hurt right?
