I love Preschool Crafts that are not only fun to make but, to play with too!! This Rocketship craft is one of those activities. The kids had a great time creating their rocketship and even more fun flying it around. The hardest part was waiting for it to dry so they could play with it.
Supplies:
- Papertowel roll
- Cardboard
- White Paper
- Construction paper
- Stickers
- Ribbon
- Glue
- Scissors
Steps:
- Put Glue all around paper towel roll
- Slowly put white piece of paper around papertowel roll, as you go around attaching it to the glue, tuck the extra paper into either side of the paper towel roll
- Add a little glue to either side of the paper towel roll where you tucked in the extra paper
- Cut a triangle from the cardboard
- Take a piece of construction paper and Glue it to the Cardboard, folding it around it, so that the entire cardboard is covered
- Crumple a piece of Black construction paper, making a point on one end, and put in one opening of the paper towel, so that it has a point-for the nose of the rocket ship.
- Glue Triangle to paper towel roll
- Tie ribbon together in a not, and curl with scissor
- Glue ribbon into opposite end of Rocket ship opening from nose
Let it dry and then have fun!!
