This is another funny video from the Dad Labs about preparing to take your potty training child out.  When your child is potty training it is quite a challenge every time you go out.  The early potty training stage can be quite a challenge.  This video gives some good potty training tips.

Toddler Crafts potty training tips – preparing for going out of the house with out diapers

• Bring a LOT of extra clothes – 3 pants, 3 underwear in the beginning
• Bring a few shopping bags to put wet clothes in (just in case)
• Encourage your child to use the potty before going.  Sometimes suggesting some incentive (aka – bribe) if they go helps!
• When you get somewhere new, check out where the potty is, take a trip in and see if they can give it  a try
• Carry a travel potty with you if you are going to the park etc, where there might not be a potty.
• Always have wipes handy
• Give your child BIG praise when they go
