Fathers Day is fast approaching, so it’s time to really start thinking about fun fathers day crafts the kids can create for their dad. This is a fun card the kids can make for their dads that has a pop up inside. You can create the pop up to be something that fits your child’s dad’s interests. This one is made with a football, but you could easily make a soccerball, baseball, computer, bike, etc.
Supplies:
- 3 Pieces of Construction paper
- Crayons, Markers, stickers and other items to decorate the card.
- Glue
- Scissors
Steps:
- Take on piece of construction paper and fold it in half
- Cut in two places about an inch apart
- Pull in the piece you cut and fold card again
- Cut out your pop up- football, soccer ball, tie, etc
- Glue to pop up
- Write Fathers Day message on outside and personal note on inside
Enjoy!

Thank you for posting the steps of making this card. I always appreciate it when I was given a handmade card of any kind. Your steps seem so easy. My kids should have fun making it for their dad. Thanks you for the idea.

It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in 55 of the world’s countries and on other days elsewhere. It complements Mother’s Day, the celebration honoring mothers. It is a widely known celebration.
