Need a last minute Father’s Day Craft?  Here’s one that’s really cute and easy to do!! It’s a Tie Book Mark.  You probably have everything handy already.  We used purple construction paper, I would suggest maybe using a lighter one so the childrens decorations show up better.

Supplies:

• Construction Paper (preferbly a light color)(you can use card stock too)
• Cardboard (if you are using construction paper)
• Glue Stick
• Scissors
• Markers
• A picture of your child
• Laminating sheets (can be done with out it-just preserves it better)

Steps:

1. Draw outline of a tie
2. Cut it out (if your child is old enough, they can cut it)
3. Trace tie outline on cardboard and cut that out
4. Write with a Dark Marker the words “Happy Father’s Day  Love,”
5. Have your child write their name with a dark color marker
6. Have your child use lighter colors to decorate it
7. Glue construction paper tie on Cardboard tie
8. Glue Picture of your child on the knot of the tie
9. Laminate and cut out tie
