This fun Fall Craft is very simple to make and a colorful decoration to put up!!  My daughter created it at school, but I loved the idea of using different colors to show how the leaves change in Fall, so I wanted to share the idea with you.    One of the things I like to do is read a book (or 2 or 3!) about the seasons to help the kids learn.  I would suggest reading a book about Autumn and how the leaves change before creating this activity.

Supplies:

• Paper
• Scissors
• Paint
• Crayon

Steps:

1. Draw a tree shape on the paper
2. Help your child cut it out
3. Talk to your child about the different colors the leaves might turn
4. Then pick out those colors
5. Ask them what color they might like the trunk and take out that color
6. Let them get creative!!
