This Bird Crafts for Toddlers is a fun craft to create!  You can even make a few and create a puppet show with them.  Another idea is to create a scene of birds.  Create a bunch of the birds, and get a large piece of Styrofoam.  Paint or color the foam green or blue and the place the sticks into the Styrofoam.

Supplies:

  • Foam sheet
  • Feathers
  • Markers
  • Popsicle stick
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Stencil of bird  (not necessary thought, you can free hand the outline)

Steps:

  1. Draw outline of bird on foam sheet with marker (If you have a stencil, you will follow the outline, If you do not, you might want to try it with pencil first)
  2. Cut out your bird
  3. Color wings on bird with markers
  4. Glue bird to popsicle stick
  5. Glue feathers to bird
