Toddler Craft Styrofoam Wolf

This is a really simple craft-another in my series on projects you can make from styrofoam balls.  The possibilities of projects is endless!!  My son inspired this one.  I asked him what he would like to make and he said a Wolf, so off we went.  You might want to read a book like Little Miss Riding Hood when creating this craft.

Supplies:

  • 3 Styrofoam balls (one that is a smaller size for the head)
  • Tooth picks
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Marker

Steps:

  1. Cut Toothpicks in half
  2. Place toothpick (half of it, use both balls that are the same size) in one styrofoam ball then place other ball on other side of toothpick until the balls meet
  3. Take other half of toothpick and place in one side of 2 balls and put smaller ball on other end of toothpick and attach
  4. Cut pipe Cleaner into shorter lengths and twist to make ears
  5. Put Ears on top of smaller ball
  6. Cut smaller lengths of pipe cleaner times 4, place in bottom of two bigger balls for legs
  7. Make eyes and nose with marker (or you can use googly eyes)

Hope you enjoy!
