It’s that time of year again! I can’t believe it! So here is the start of the holiday craft series. Today is a simple Christmas Tree Craft that can easily be made into an ornament. To make it an ornament, I would recommend using card stock instead of construction paper. Then just hole punch the top and put a pretty ribbon through it.
Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Beads
- Glitter
Steps:
- Draw a tree shape
- Cut out the tree (or have your child cut it out, depending on their age)
- Make a design with the glue
- Shake glitter over it and empty on a paper plate or bowl
- Glue some beads or other pretty objects
Enjoy!

For years our only Christmas tree has been one that Cait makes. Trust me when I say we have had some very interesting trees. They are better than any tree you could ever buy.

This is really a great easy project. Our toddler enjoyed sprinkling on the sequence. I took care of the scissor duties.
