In honor of We Heart Art sponsored by Three Bay B Chicks, Domestically Challenged and I’m Living proof God has a Sense of humor I am sharing some fun simple ideas this week for inspiration!
Yesterday we got messy and cretive at my house!! I am usually a bit anal about using brushes and rollers for painting. But, yesterday we decided to put paint in our tupperware tops, spread it out and cover our hands in it!! The kids loved it!! They loved the way it felt on their hands and making their own creations with their hands!! Check out their creations below!
My 3 yearold got creative with some red and purple.
She moved her hands in many directions to make her picture
The little girl I watch is 5 and she made this with purple.
Notice how she lined all the hands up!
Here is another creation by my 3 year old.
She used a lot of black for this one.
My 6 year old boy got into finger painting and doing his hand prints in this one.
This one is by my 6 year old also.
He blended blue and brown and made clear hand prints.
As you can see with a little paint, paper and imagination kids can really get into creating!! They loved this and each made about 10 creations!!
Supplies:
- Washable paint ( a MUST for this one!)
- Paper
- Something to spread out paint-we used a paint brush
- Tupperware lids
- SOAP AND WATER!! FOR CLEAN UP-LOL
Steps:
- Pull up sleeves or wear short sleeves
- Pour desired colors on Tupperware lid
- Spread paint out with brush
- Put hands on paint
- CREATE!! on the paper!
