I just discovered Tackle it Tuesday from dominiquegoh.com and then went to 5minutesformom to check it out!! This is so perfect for me right now!! I am working on many projects right now! My biggest one is organizing my house in preparation for my sister and son to come stay with us for a year. She is getting her Doctorate in NeuroPsychology and her internship is here. So while her poor hubby will be stuck without them for a year, I am going to get the fun of enjoying a year of sister and nephew time!! This does mean some serious organizing!!
My Current project is clearing out my storage area-to make room for things I will need to store for a bit. I spent 10 hours the other day going through clothes from my daughter since birth!! I gave some to a friend and some to Big Sisters. It felt great to get through it all ! I am about halfway there! Here is the storage area pictures after clearing out the clothes…

Keep in mind this is only half way done!! Hopefully next week I will post completed pictures!! But at least I can walk in here now!!
My other big project is this blog and the 31dbbb challenge and Crowd Mountain to enhance my blog and make it the best it can be!! Both have been great at helping me focus and improve my blog. Crowd Mountain has had some great step by step directions that have really helped me!

What are you doing for Tackle it Tuesday?
I just had to share this post I found on the Artful Parent’s Blog!! I don’t know about you but, I love Doughnuts (and sweets in general-even though I probably shouldn’t!!) so when I saw this post on her adventure making baked donuts and I had to share it!! Let me know what you think!! The original recipe be found here from 101 Cookbooks.
This isn’t a Toddler Craft but I thought it would be a good idea to share!
I don’t know about you but my kids used to always hate when I would try to lather on the moisturizer after a bath. This time of year that can be difficult, since with the heat and cold weather (at least here in the North East !) their skin gets very dry!! But, not anymore!! Here is how I get both my kids to joyfully lather up!! I call it dot to dots and it is simple and fun!!
Get your moisturizer out and put a tablespoonful on the side of the sink or a little plastic plate. Then get a q-tip and dab it in the moisturizer. Then put the dots all over your child! I always sang the “Dot” song (my own made up song, LOL) When my kids were little I would put it on them. Now they LOVE to put it on themselves and then rub it in!! All I need to do is get it set up and they are painting themselves with dots of moisturizer!!
Let me know your fun tricks!!
