Tackle It Tuesday Meme

This week I have been tackling painting the trim on our windows and house outside!  It is tedious but needs to be done!!  I do love how it looks when it’s done, so much fresher and cleaner.  I have a feeling I will be tackling this for a couple more weeks and then it will be time to tackle the inside trim!

Here is one of the windows that I painted…

Toddler Crafts Tackles finding a sitter

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

I am once again on my quest to find a sitter for the mornings and have been utilizing sitter city which I have had great success with.  The thing I love about sitter city is that there are so many qualified sitters on there, and they have the profile’s on each person.  The profile’s are really helpful because I find they give you a sense about each person.

So now I am in the process of setting up interviews and meeting the potential sitters.  I do hope we can find someone really good.  It’s so important to find someone your comfortable with, that’s good with the kids and reliable.

Toddler Crafts Tackles the radiator

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

This week I tackled the radiator!  I wish I had taken a before picture!  It was really getting rusty and gross looking and it wasn’t even that old.  I guess that’s what happens when you have a boy and the radiator is next to the toilet!  So I sanded it and spray painted it with rustoleum paint.  It came out really great and looks brand new, so I am really excited!!

Check out the after picture!

Toddler Crafts Tackles many projects!

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

I have been tackling so many projects lately, I don’t know where to begin!!  I can’t believe I did not take before and after pictures, because we have been rearranging our whole house!  After my sister went back home with my nephew, we decided we would move our kids rooms, and then we decided we’d move our room.  So we have moved almost all the furniture in the house around, including rearranging the playroom!!   The past two weekends have been totally dedicated to these projects but they are almost done!  Now it is the little things, sorting toys, paint touch up etc to get it finished.  I have to say I am really excited because I really like the way it looks!  So for the next few weeks I will be tackling more organizing, painting etc!!  My big tackle that I have yet to start this summer, is painting the outside trim! UGH!  It’s one of those projects that has to be done, but I am not looking forward to it!

What have you been tackling?  Do you tackle big projects in the summer?  What is your favorite type of tackle?  What is your least favorite?

Toddler Crafts tackles the art supply cabinet (one of the many!)

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

This week at toddler crafts I tackled one of my art supply cabinets.  It’s something I have to do every few months.  The kids and I are always going in there taking things in and out so it gets disorganized after a while.  I have found that having shelves, bins (like tuperware or containers with little drawers) helps organize the various supplies for our crafts for toddlers activities!  I think it is important to make it easy to access and put away otherwise you might not be as apt to access your arts and crafts supplies and create fun crafts!
