It’s that time of year again! St. Patrick’s day! Time for parade’s and dressing up in green. Little Leprachan’s running everywhere! It’s fun to decorate and get festive for the holiday and kids love to make those decorations!! I have listed some St. Patrick’s Day Crafts you might like to check out below.

St. Patrick’s Day Craft – Leprechaun hat – Picture above
This is a creative way to decorate for St. Patricks Day. You will need to get some supplies for this craft outlined in this video, but you will have a beautiful result when you are done. This St. Patrick’s Day craft is geared more towards a child 6 or older. Enjoy!
St Patricks Day Crafts

Before you start the project you might want to read a book about St. Patricks day like St. Patricks Day by Carmen Bredeson or Hooray for St Patricks Day! by Joan Holub, which could tell them a little about the holiday and why it is celebrated.
Supplies
- Green Construction Paper
- Yellow Construction Paper
- Glue Stick
- Stickers for decorating
- Scissors
- Black Marker
Steps
- Cut out hat shape out of green construction paper (Depending on your child’s age you can make an outline and then have them cut it out)
- Make Lines as seen on Picture above on hat with Black marker
- Cut out yellow rectangle, with a rectangle hole in the middle
- Glue the rectangle on the top of the hat
- Decorate it with stickers
You now have your St Patricks Day Hat!
