If you have little kids at home, you might have noticed that they usually have this inclination to play with your refrigerator stick-ons. Sometimes, when we use these magnetic stickers to pin our bills and other important documents on the fridge, we would be surprised that our notes and reminders are scattered on the floor. The kids have played with your ref stick-ons and they love playing with it.
To perhaps avoid this inconvenience, why not involve your kids into making their own refrigerator stick-ons. And because December is already here, lets have the kids create Christmas-themed alphabet magnetic stickers.
Supplies:
- Small magnets
- Black paper board
- Colored paper board (green, yellow, red)
- Black marker
- Glue
- Glitter glue
- Puncher
Steps:
- Cut the colored paper boards into 2×2 inches square tiles. Green, yellow, and red are the colors of Christmas, and they are usually prevalent at this time of the year. This will establish the Christmas theme of the alphabet magnetic stickers. Make 26 pieces.
- Cut the the black paperboard into 2.5×2.5 inches square tiles. Create 26 pieces.
- Glue one colored paperboards over a black paperboard. Do the same with the remaining pieces.
- Write the letters of the alphabet on the paper tiles.
- Punch some holes on the colored papers to create small circles. Put yellow and green circles on the red tiles, red and green on the yellow ones, and yellow and red on the green ones. Apply glitter glue on the center of the circles.
- Glue the small magnets at the back of the stick-ons. Let them dry.
You now have your Christmas-themed alphabet magnetic stick-ons! Happy Holidays!

Drawing a reindeer might look very challenging for you? Don’t be discouraged thinking about your difficulty in sketching this great Christmas creature. It’s just a matter of creativity and imagination.
Working on the “Reindeer Wall Stick On” is an easy-to-make craft made out of tracing a child’s hand and foot prints. By using the handprints and footprint, you can make a reindeer’s head that can be decorated on the walls of your children’s room.
Because the children will use their own handprint and foot print, they will be making personalized masterpieces that they could treasure.
Supplies:
- Orange, red, and brown construction paper
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Scissors
- Glue
- Large Wiggly Eyes
- Double Sided Tape
- Black marker
Steps:
- Let the child trace his or her foot using the brown construction paper. Adults can help children who still cannot do it by themselves. This will serve as the head of the reindeer.
- Then, let the child trace his or her left and right hand prints on the orange construction paper. These will serve as the reindeer’s antlers.
- Trace the outline of the foot print and the handprints with a black marker.
- Cut along these outlines.
- After cutting put the patterns, glue the handprints on the top of the reindeers head.
- Glue the wiggly eyes on the reindeer head.
- Cut a circle shape on the red construction paper.
- Glue the red circle shape in the middle of the reindeer head. This will serve as the nose of the reindeer.
- Draw a smiling mouth below the red nose.
- Cut the double sided tape and place it at the back of the reindeer. Peel off and stick on the walls of the child’s room.
Fill the children’s rooms with these simple and easy-to-do Christmas decorations and create the Christmas atmosphere that you all may appreciate.

We are always wishing for a white Christmas every time the month of December comes. Kids are amazed to see the first drops of snowflakes as they gaze outside through the window panes during winter season. Capture this magical moment by making your very own snowy Christmas window that you can hang around your Christmas tree.
Supplies:
- 6 popsicle sticks (full length)
- Baby blue or light blue paint
- Transparent plastic cover
- Small Styrofoam balls (the one you use in stuffing bean bags)
- White yarn
- Glue
Steps:
- Line up three Popsicle sticks vertically and even out the space in between the sticks.
- Then Line up another three Popsicle sticks horizontally over the vertical sticks and glue them together, following the window pattern.
- Apply the light blue paint all over the mini-window and let it dry.
- Cut the transparent plastic cover according to the size and shape of the mini-window.
- Glue the transparent plastic cover at the back of the sticks.
- Get a piece of yarn and make a loop. Glue the yarn on top of the window to serve as the hanger.
- Get the small pieces of Styrofoam balls, which will serve as “snow chunks” and glue them at the bottom of the window. Add more snow pieces at the corners of the window.
A useful tip for the kids who are making this decor: If there are no small Styrofoam balls that are available, you can just use white paint to create small dots at the bottom of the “window sill”. This year, you can custom made your Christmas tree by making your own decorations instead of buying them in the market.

The Christmas season is a time when we rummage the malls for new stuff or our house for some old recyclable things that we can still use. Besides receiving gifts, kids enjoy setting up and helping in the Christmas tree decoration.
Putting little Santa heads under the tree is one cute way of decorating the tree this Yuletide season.
Supplies:
- Styrofoam balls (You can buy Styrofoam balls of different sizes)
- Red felt paper
- Wiggly eyes
- Black and red (or pink) marker
- Cotton
- Scissors
- Super Glue
- Triangle pattern (the bigger the Styrofoam balls, the larger the triangle shape)
Steps:
- Depending on the size of the Styrofoam ball, choose the right pattern size. Trace the triangle on the felt paper and cut it out.
- Fold the triangle from side to side to form a cone. Put a fluff of cotton on top of the cone.
- Glue the Santa hat on the Styrofoam ball. Put some fluffs of cotton around the base of the Santa hat.
- Glue the wiggly eyes on the ball to form part of the face.
- Using the marker, draw a smiling mouth on the Santa ball.
- Put some fluffs of cotton around the mouth to form Santa’s beard.
- Put some pink marks on the cheeks of the Santa ball.
- Make as many Santa balls as you want. Arrange them carefully under your Christmas tree.
The Santa Styrofoam Balls are very easy to make. You can even create a family of Santa balls to represent each member of the family – from grandma to the little baby. You can also adorn the balls with accessories to give it a personal touch.
