This week we are tackling the snow AGAIN!! This winter is has been very snow filled for sure!! The kids definitely are loving it and I don’t mind a little snow, but I have definitely had enough!! I am lucky that my husband does the brunt of the shoveling (ok, All the shoveling) so I don’t typically have to kill my back every time it snows.

In our effort to tackle the snow, we have our snowpants at the ready, and the kids are enjoying running around and sliding down their sleds in the snow. Today we took out our daughters bike, because the road was cleared and let her ride up and down it. Some other things you can do to tackle these long snow days…
- Bake Cookies
- Make Homemade Playdough
- Make some crafts
- Read some books
- Break out the board games, we played a fun one today called “guess who?”
- Have playdates
- Go Bowling
- Go to the library and get some new books and/or movies
- Get food coloring and mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray the snow different colors
This winter feels LONG and I am yearning for Spring!! I can’t wait to be able to bring the kids to the park again, go for a walk and just sit outside enjoying the fresh air. But in the meantime, I will tackle the snow!!
What are you tackling?

It’s snowing like crazy here in Massachusetts. The plows haven’t started yet, but I have no doubt they’ll be out soon. I saw plenty of trucks headed in to get their salt and sand on the way to work today.
I like the cooking ideas… especially when you have some unexpected home time, you can tackle a recipe you might not on another day. Kids are so much more likely to try new foods when they help make them.
