I really love summer time and I am anxiously awaiting the warm weather that usually accompanies it!  It’s been raining for 2 weeks here, but the weatherperson has promised tomorrow will be sunny *fingers crossed*.  On the bright side the rain has really helped my garden grow which has been terrific!  My squash and zuchinni are growing wonderfully.  The tomatoes seem to be growing really well too.  One of the cucumbers looks a little shaky-not sure why.  There is so much to learn about gardening!

Another side effect of all this rain (besides me going stir crazy!) is that the weeds are growing like crazy too!  Thank goodness for my weeder tool (ok-probably not the real name, but that’s what I call it.)  The blueberries look spectacular and I can’t wait until they turn blue so I can eat them.  I think the birds can’t either, because I see them stalking the bush.  I actually got some bird netting to keep them off the berries!

It’s that time of year to break out the tools for the Barbecue.  I discovered when digging them out that our Grill Broke!!   So I guess it’s time to buy a grill.  I love having corn and chicken on the barbecue!!  I can even grill up some of my zuchinni and squash when it’s ready!! Yeah!!

I do wish I had a deck with some outdoor furniture and a hammock.  But that will have to wait!!  I would also love a screened in porch but I guess I am getting crazy now!!  My beach chairs and benches will have to do!  Now if I can only get the sun to come out and the temperature to rise we will be ready to go!!  The kids have been outside playing in the drizzling rain because the need to get out so bad.  I am doing a sun dance!
