Fun Activities for Kids – Wand Craft

This was a really fun craft that the kids loved!  It is really simple and they will have so much fun playing with it.  My son and I have been reading the first Harry Potter together, so he is really into wizards right now.  As I said the other day, my daughter loves fairies.  So what is better then your own wand?!!  This is really fun and you probably have all the supplies handy!

Supplies

  • 2 Pieces of Construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • ribbon
  • Glitter, stickers (optional)
Steps
  1. Roll 2 pieces of construction paper together, lay them flat, slightly uneven with eachother
  2. Cut Strips of the paper on one half
  3. Gently pull the middle strips up to make it fuller
  4. Tape the bottom well to keep together
  5. Tie ribbon around it and tape part of the ribbon to keep it on
  6. Decorate however you like, stickers, glitter, lots of ribbons
