Today is the second part of the Treasure hunt series. There are so many fun and Free activities for Kids like this. You really don’t need to spend a lot fo money to have fun at home! We used the same Treasure box made in the original post.
The picture at the top shows the triangle treasures we made. In this version we wrote out directions to find the next clue, each clue took the kids to another clue, and eventually the treasure. This can be done for older or younger kids. For young kids who can’t read yet, or are just beginning too, use picutres with a simple word as shown below. For older kids who can read you can give a few word description, Like “Go to my favorite place to sit”.
Here are some more of the special treasures we hid.
This is such a fun activity!! My kids have been playing it everyday since we invented it! After you are done playing you can store all the clues and treasures in the box until next time. Enjoy!
