Crown

My kids love to dress up and do dramatic playing.  They are always pretending they are a superhero, princess, king, scooby doo…you get the idea!! I have a huge box of dress up clothes for them to play with!  They love it and will dive in and come out part pirate, princess and knight!  They love making new things for their imaginary play!!  We made these Crowns one day after reading Cinderella.  You NEED a crown to be a princess and prince!!  These crowns are very simple to make and LOTS of fun!!

Supplies:

  • Construction Paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glitter Glue
  • Stapler

Steps:

  1. Draw on construction paper outline of crown-three triangle’s on top of a band.
  2. Cut out Crown shape
  3. Cut extra band about two inches high and length of paper
  4. Decorate crown with glitter glue
  5. Measure your childs head with crown and extra band
  6. Staple together so that it is a little snug and stays on

Read the story Cinderella or another Princess story and then pretend with your kids that they are the prince and princess.  Have fun!!
